Ironwood Studios of Knoxville is a collaboration of  two local craftsmen. Preston Farabow owner of Aespyre Metals and John McGilvray owner of McGilvray Woodworks, purchased a 17,500 square foot building in the up and coming Downtown North area of Knoxville, TN.  After an extensive restoration of the historic building, originally built in 1924 as a bus repair facility, it has a new life  as a home to craftsmen working in metal and wood.

Ironwood Studios has played host to many local events including First Friday events, art shows, music shows, fundraisers for Knox Heritage, Brown Dog Foundation, Knox skate park, and many more community events and meetings.
